New Features
I-stats is committed to add and enhance features on a regular basis. We have an extensive list of features already under development/in test, and we continue to receive feedback from our clients.
April 27, 2007: Release of I-stats 1.02
Track Secure Pages Securely!
I-stats makes available three different types of HTML codes to track your visitor: (1) a code that displays the I-stats' logo wherever your place the code (usually recommended at the bottom of your web pages), (2) a code that will simply communicate with I-stats server and not display anything on your website, so your visitors won't necessarily know you're using a web analytics software on your site by just visiting it, and (3)
a secure code for secure pages.
If you have secure web pages (https), you cannot have any component of those pages not hosted on secure servers because some browsers will display warning messages to your visitors that some component of that page is not secure. So, I-stats has a third code on a completely secure server for that purpose.
The HTML codes are sent to you via e-mail when you create your account and always available under project preferences.

Edit Popular Pages (for advanced accounts)
The popular pages has been modified to include two features that will help our clients to take more control of their URLs within I-stats. The first feature is the inclusion of a link to page analysis
next to each popular page name. The page analysis report is a very powerful feature that allows you to view the complete analysis of any page: referring links, keyword search, image search, and to which pages you visitors are going next.
At the top right corner, you can click on
Go to Page Setup to modify your pages title and url. There are many reasons why you would want to modify your pages' titles: (1) If you use long page titles to help with your search engine optimization efforts, but would like a simpler title in your I-stats reports, (2) once a page is added to I-stats, we will not update your page titles if you modify them on your website, (3) if one page passes querystring arguments and you want to describe what they mean (sometimes error messages, different users, etc.)
Besides the pages' titles, you can also assign specific URLs to different pages. I-stats links back to your web pages throughout the application and it uses the URL entered when the account was first created as default.
